Overfed bubba!
I’m lucky that I have family to babysit my baby girl since I’ve had to return to work.
However, I’m finding my lil one is being overfed while I’m gone. In a 5hr period she’s being given 3x180mL bottles and a serving of puréed fruit.
She doesn’t need that much, I’ve just found if she’s grizzly the first thing that is tried is feeding her. Even if she’s not hungry she WILL take food and bottle!
I’m trying to find a nice way of explaining that she doesn’t need that much. I wouldn’t really be fussed but she won’t take a full feed at bedtime because of it, which in turn means she wakes up hungry during the night.

Well it’s Mothers Day tomorrow, and for the first time it actually applies to me. It’s kinda surreal to think I’m a mother, even though my bubba is almost 5mths old! Should be used to that by now, lol.
Don’t get me wrong I’m madly in love with my baby, she’s everything to me and I wanted and chose to start a family.
I just don’t have that “Wow I’m a mum, I feel old now” mentality. I don’t feel like I’m any different. I just have a little person now who goes pretty much everywhere with me and relies on me.
I always thought when u have a baby you get this sudden urge to grow up and “be an adult” but nope, still just me, and proud of it!
